How to install and set up TapTap
First, download the app and tap the notification when done. You may get a prompt asking for permission to install apps from unknown sources on your Android browser. To avoid the prompt, or set it up before installing the app, head over to Settings> Applications> [your browser] > Install unknown apps > Allow from this source.
If you skip this step, you will receive a series of notifications when you try to download it, starting with a message that the file may be malicious. Faucet Download Anyway > Settings > Allow From This Source. Once the APK file is downloaded, you can click on the notification to start the installation. Next, you have to create a TapTap account.
Create a TapTap account
When you open the app, you will see a login screen with two options. You can quickly sign in with your Google account or sign up with an email account. After registering, you will be asked to choose a profile name and profile picture, and you have the option to reveal your gender.
Next, TapTap asks that you choose up to six types to customize the results according to your preferences. The final step involves choosing three or more games to find relevant titles once you’re logged in. And that’s it, you’re good to go!
You may get some additional prompts when trying to download a game for the first time, such as giving TapTap access to your storage to save downloads and allowing it to install apps from unknown sources. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to accept it.
