If you’ve read enough articles here on Nintendo Life over the past few weeks, you’ll know that we Grand Members Splatoon 3. The game seems to balance those little quirks that made previous games so successful, with enough new features that the latest entry really looks like “top of the chain” (like Our glowing review put it briefly).

But among all the new features, there is one that stands head and shoulders above the rest. “What is this new game-changing feature you’re talking about?” We hear you asking, “Is Salmon Run the incredibly fun, now constantly playable game? Great new story mode? The new maps for Turf War Battles?” No, it’s a treasury thing.

Giving us all our own customizable lockers was always going to be a recipe for some top-notch humor. “That would be a little more fun,” Nintendo must have thought, “there is no way to make this feel weird on the internet.” Hey Nintendo, you are awesome.

Since the game’s release, we’ve been loving the locker laughs featured on our social media feeds. Then we have more pure nightmare fuel – the first in particular gaining the proper reaction – but isn’t the second just as bad? It really shows that you can take the player out of it Between usbut you can’t get a game between us out of the player (or something like that):

We’re going to approximate things with this strange little number that seems to defy the laws of physics by its very existence. How you can’t hear it when you close the door is far from us – it must be a magical locker:

It’s been less than a week and we’re still laughing. It’s impossible for this joke to get old, right?

To browse the Locker Room, you need to get to number four, so if you’re not there yet, take this time to plan your masterpiece.
