New evidence suggests that WhatsApp will allow you to upload voice notes as status updates.

This means that you can share short voice notes with any of your contacts en masse.

This was detected by app investigators at WABetaInfo Mining the “beta” version of WhatsApp for new features.

This new trick has been found “in development” in the Android beta app.

WABetaInfo explained: “When you want to post an audio status update, you can also choose the background color for the audio note and it will appear as a message bubble.”

In addition, the voice note plays automatically every time you open an audio status update, it is protected by end-to-end encryption.

“It is possible to download a voice note for up to 30 seconds.”

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to say exactly when this feature will be rolled out.

Since it is still in development, it can take days, weeks, or even months to reach the public version of WhatsApp.

Simple Voice Memo Trick

A recent addition to WhatsApp is the ability to pause recording of voice notes.

It was launched on the app earlier this year, and it has achieved huge popularity.

First, make sure that you have updated to the latest version of WhatsApp.

You can do this through the Apple App Store on iPhone or in the Google Play Store on Android.

Then close WhatsApp and restart it to make sure you are using the latest version.

Now open a chat – it doesn’t matter if it’s a one-on-one or a group chat.

Tap and hold the Voice Recording feature, then swipe up to lock it into Hands-Free mode.

You will now notice the pause icon appear in the middle of the screen.

You can click this to pause the recording.

It is also possible to leave the conversation and the application while keeping the recording paused.

Then you can come back to it later and continue.

This is great if you are logging a long message but have been interrupted or need to know more information.

Or maybe you simply forgot what you wanted to say and need some time to remember it.

Whatever the case, it’s very easy to stop and come back – and the recipient won’t know the difference.

The app does not indicate the chat when recording is paused.

WhatsApp also changed the app recently so you can Keep listening to the audio notes Even outside the chat.

So if you start playing a voice message, you can go to another chat and it won’t pause playback.
